About the Role
This role isn’t just regional – it’s cultural, strategic, and global. As Sr Director of Social Media – LATAM, you’ll lead our Spanish-language social media strategy across Latin America while serving as a key advisor to global marketing teams targeting Spanish-speaking consumers in the US, South America, and Europe. Based in Miami, this leader will champion cultural nuance, elevate social storytelling, and drive both community engagement and commercial impact across diverse markets.

 

We’re looking for someone who can shape the future of our brands on social – from creator partnerships in Colombia to TikTok trends in Spain to influencer strategy across US Latin-American audiences. You will lead LATAM market activations while influencing global priorities to ensure relevance with Spanish-speaking consumers worldwide.

 

Key Responsibilities

Regional & Cross-Market Strategy

  • Serve as the social media voice of the Spanish-speaking consumer globally
  • Build and execute a LATAM social media strategy aligned with global goals and local culture
  • Provide guidance to U.S. and European teams to better connect with Spanish-speaking audiences

Content & Platform Leadership

  • Lead LATAM presence across platforms (IG, TikTok, YouTube, etc.), optimizing for cultural resonance and impact
  • Localize global toolkits; co-create region-first campaigns where relevant
  • Drive innovation in content formats, creator partnerships, and trend activation

Measurement & Performance

  • Set and monitor KPIs across markets, adapting strategies to maximize reach and ROI
  • Partner with analytics to report regional insights and fuel global learning
  • Leverage social listening and trendspotting to inform brand direction

Team & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Manage local social teams and influencer/creator agencies across LATAM
  • Partner closely with regional marketing, media, PR, sales, and global brand teams
  • Act as a cultural ambassador and social expert in global strategy sessions

 

What You Bring

  • 10+ years in social or digital marketing with significant LATAM and U.S. Hispanic experience
  • Deep platform fluency and knowledge of Spanish-language influencer ecosystems
  • Fluent in Spanish and English; Portuguese a strong plus
  • Experience in global or matrixed organizations, and in developing culturally resonant content
  • Proven leadership and storytelling skills with a consumer-first mindset
