About the Role:
Shark Ninja is looking to expand its supply chain beyond China by sourcing finished goods from other regions to support its global growth. This role is responsible for commercial aspects of finished goods and component sourcing, procurement, including finding new vendors/technologies, supply chain development, maintenance of existing vendors and their development; sub-supplier procurement, consolidation management; with the aim to deliver the right quality product at the right time at the right cost.

LOCATION: Vietnam.
Here are some of the EXCITING things you’ll get to do:
• Develop and manage relationships with existing OEM suppliers, including negotiating NDAs, supply agreements, pricing, cost management, performance management, volume rebates, and coordinating after-sales services.
• Lead and manage a team of supply chain professionals in SEA.
• Oversee all OEM operations in SEA, including supplier coordination and ensuring timely delivery of goods.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize supply chain operations in Thailand/Vietnam, Malaysia and Indonesia.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop new products/projects, identify potential risks and develop mitigation plans.
• Build and maintain relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders.
• Actively source key component suppliers locally and overseas (outside of China), including managing RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs.
• Pricing and costing activities for ongoing supply will be part of this role. Work closely with the China Supply Chain team to develop a comprehensive sourcing strategy.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
Experience:
• At least 10+ years’ experience (sourcing or procurement, supply chain, Engineering etc) in appliances or similar products/industry with solid experience and track record of working for multi-national firm.
• Solid understanding of supply chain, planning and/or manufacturing
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement supply chain strategies.
• Understand import/export regulation, ECN process, new supplier development.
• 5+ years’ experience in small electrical appliance or floorcare products project management.
• 3+ years’ experience in factory Engineering department, working from Concept to production and VA/VE will be a plus.
• University Degree in a subject relevant to the position is preferable—Engineering, mechanical design etc.
• Proactive, hardworking, self-motivation.
• Can work under pressure and different time zone.
• Can work independently with limited supervision.
Functional Skills/Knowledge:
• 5+ years’ experience in small electrical appliance or floorcare products project management.
• 3+ years’ experience in factory Engineering department, working from Concept to production and VA/VE will be a plus.
• University Degree in a subject relevant to the position is preferable—Engineering, mechanical design etc.
• Proactive, hardworking, self-motivation.
• Can work under pressure and different time zone.
• Can work independently with limited supervision.
Education/Certifications/Affiliations:
• Bachelor’s degree (or above) in mechanical/electronics/trading/supply chain or related discipline preferred. MBA an advantage.
Travel Requirements: Travel to OEMs/suppliers in SEA.
Preferred Qualifications for team fit:
• Quick learner with strong logical, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Proven leadership experience across various activities.
