Title:                 Manager, NA Operations 

Reports to:     Senior Manager, North America Transportation 

Location:        Onsite – Southaven, MS Distribution Center

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Manager, NA Operations is a key member of our Transportation and DC Operations team in North America. This individual will play a key role in Transportation strategy and execution across prepaid, collect (CPU), carrier management, intercompany transfers, and Transportation Management System (TMS) administration. In addition, the Manager assists with distribution excellence, operational efficiency, and continuous process improvement to ensure service, cost, and performance objectives are consistently achieved. This is a hands-on role requiring strong cross-functional collaboration, data-driven decision-making, and a continuous improvement mindset.

Specifically, the Manager, NA Operations will support the Logistics team by:   

  • Oversee carrier selection, rate negotiation support, performance management, and relationship development.
  • Monitor freight spend, identify cost-saving opportunities, and drive optimization initiatives.
  • Resolve transportation disruptions proactively while minimizing cost and service impact.
  • Partner with DC leadership to ensure seamless inbound and outbound execution.
  • Drive operational efficiency in receiving, shipping, inventory movements, and intercompany transfers.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives across departments
  • Analyze transportation and distribution data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities.
  • Drive improvement in the customer experience associated with SharkNinja B2B/DTC.
  • Drive improvement in warehousing, KPI’s, handling costs, performance, and customer satisfaction levels across the US.
  • Build and maintain partnerships with 3PL teams and carriers to drive customer satisfaction, deliver on growth and drive continuous improvement.
  • Take on additional logistics or operations projects as requested (e.g. DTC fulfillment, IB Transportation, light manufacturing). 

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS 

The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in transportation and distribution environments, with a proven ability to execute efficiently in fast-paced settings. They demonstrate ownership of carrier performance, freight spend management, and daily operational flow while proactively resolving disruptions to protect service and cost targets. This individual partners effectively with transportation and distribution center leadership, along with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless inbound and outbound execution. They leverage data and KPIs to identify inefficiencies, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and implement process enhancements that improve service levels and operational performance. Above all, they combine analytical thinking with practical execution to deliver measurable, sustainable results.

The ideal candidate for this Manager role will have: 

  • Experience in DC Operations, focusing on operational execution for both retail and DTC shipments. 
  • Management or coordination of multi-site operations. 
  • Cross-functional teamwork to implement operational changes and improvements. 
  • Use of KPIs to monitor and report on operational performance.  
  • Operational interaction with 3PL providers to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. 
  • Understanding of freight solutions including FTL, LTL, IMDL, etc. 
  • Proactive problem-solving abilities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. 
  • Strong communication skills to maintain internal and external relationships. 
  • Commitment to meeting deadlines and following through on tasks. 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations Management, or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in transportation, distribution, or supply chain operations.
  • Strong knowledge of freight management (LTL, FTL, intermodal preferred).
  • Proven experience in carrier management and freight cost optimization.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and reporting tools.

 OTHER REQUIREMENTS 

  • Travel Required - up to 25% 
  • Flexible work schedule to accommodate virtual meetings with other regions 

 

 

 

Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary range for this position is displayed below. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

Pay Range
$105,000$125,000 USD
