Position Overview
We’re seeking a Senior Manager, Marketing Data – Global to design, build, and manage the data infrastructure that powers our marketing analytics globally. This role is a “player-coach”: a hands-on data expert who can architect solutions while also expanding our capacity to onboard, transform, and centralize marketing data globally.

This role will join a growing Global Marketing Analytics Team, transforming data into clear actions that optimize marketing performance and guide media, social, and creative strategies. The ideal candidate will thrive in SharkNinja’s fast-moving culture — balancing speed and scalability, ensuring reliable pipelines while enabling analysts to deliver insights quickly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analytics Engineering Leadership: Own the design, build, and maintenance of global marketing data across channels, ensuring availability, quality, scalability, and usability.
  • Hands-On Execution: Be both architect and builder — directly coding, modeling, and wrangling data to accelerate progress.
  • Collaboration: Partner with Marketing Analytics colleagues, IT, and Commercial Data teams to align on priorities and ensure a complementary global data strategy.
  • Enable Insights: Deliver centralized, well-structured datasets and semantic layers that empower analysts and business partners to act quickly.
  • Governance & Reliability: Implement robust monitoring, alerting, and anomaly detection to ensure data integrity and proactive issue resolution.
  • Scalable Solutions: Balance short-term fixes with long-term architecture that scales with global needs.
  • Team Multiplier: Serve as a multiplier for existing talent, coaching and collaborating to double our speed of onboarding and transforming data.

Attributes & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 8–10 years of experience in analytics engineering, ideally within CPG, retail, or consumer technology.
  • Expertise in modern data stack tools (e.g., Snowflake, DBT, FiveTran) and visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI).
  • Strong knowledge of ETL/ELT processes, API integrations, and data modeling best practices.
  • Experience designing scalable data infrastructure that balances speed, reliability, and usability.
  • Passion for detail, data quality, and resolving discrepancies at the root cause.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a player-coach role — building hands-on while enabling the broader team’s success.

Work Environment
This is a primarily on-site role based in Needham, MA (HQ), with flexibility to work from home 1–2 days per week.
