Position Summary 

The Senior Manager, Enterprise Master Data Management (MDM) is a strategic, hands-on leadership role responsible for governing SharkNinja’s most critical master data domains: Product, Customer, and Supplier, with scope to expand to additional domains such as locations and partners. This -level role sets the strategic vision, establishes governance structures, and drives execution across functions to ensure SharkNinja’s data is clean, complete, standardized, retailer-ready, and AI-enabled. 

Reporting to the Director, Product Management – Global Data, the Senior Manager owns cross-functional alignment, accountability enforcement, and delivery of scalable, value-generating data foundations. This leader blends enterprise product management rigor, deep data governance expertise, and executive stakeholder influence to serve as the central point of accountability for master data at SharkNinja.

What You’ll Own 

Strategic Vision & Roadmap 

Define and drive the enterprise-wide vision for MDM across domains; create and own a 3-year roadmap; balance immediate data quality fixes with long-term AI-readiness and scalability. 

Enterprise Data Governance & Council Leadership 

Establish and chair the Enterprise Data Governance Council; provide decision rights and escalation paths; enforce adoption of taxonomies, hierarchies, and standards; embed governance controls into upstream processes. 

Systems Integration & Automation 

Lead integration strategy across ERP, CRM, PLM, PIM, and analytics; sponsor automation and AI/ML-driven solutions for data capture, enrichment, and validation; influence technology roadmaps. 

AI Searchability & Discoverability 

Ensure all master data domains are semantically enriched for AI discoverability; drive adoption of metadata, ontologies, and vectorized data structures; enable conversational and generative interfaces. 

Stakeholder Engagement & Enforcement 

Engage leaders in PD, Marketing/DTC, eComm, Supply Chain, Regulatory, and Finance; deliver standardized, high-quality data endpoints to retailers and partners; hold functions accountable for compliance with standards and SLAs. 

Leadership & Influence 

Act as the enterprise thought leader for MDM; mentor product and data managers; coach business leaders on the value of clean data; elevate the overall maturity of SharkNinja’s Global Data function. 

Required Qualifications 

  • 8+ years in master data management, data product management, or enterprise data governance leadership roles. 
  • Demonstrated success leading enterprise-wide data governance initiatives across multiple domains (Product, Customer, Supplier). 
  • Strong expertise in ERP, PIM, CRM, and PLM platforms (Oracle, SAP, Salsify, Salesforce). 
  • Proven experience defining and implementing governance councils, taxonomies, and hierarchy standards at scale. 
  • Ability to influence executive stakeholders and enforce accountability across functions. 
  • Exceptional communication skills across technical and executive audiences. 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Business, Computer Science, Data, or related field. 
  • Experience in consumer goods, retail, or manufacturing. 
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance data, supplier onboarding, and customer master data management. 
  • Experience with AI/LLM tools, semantic search, or vector databases. 
  • Knowledge of modern data stack technologies (Snowflake, dbt, Power BI, Fivetran). 

Key Measures of Success 

  • 95% completeness and accuracy across Product, Customer, and Supplier master data. 
  • A single, standardized product hierarchy adopted enterprise-wide. 
  • Fully functioning Data Governance Council driving decisions and accountability. 
  • Standardized retailer and partner data endpoints in place, reducing errors and improving time-to-market. 
  • AI chatbot and generative tools returning accurate, up-to-date SharkNinja data. 
  • Measurable reduction in manual cleanup, reporting discrepancies, and cross-functional disputes. 

 

 

Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary range for this position is displayed below. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
