As we continue to expand, we are looking for a Strategic Sales & Analytics (SS&A) Analyst to join our London SHARK team, based in our Battersea office. This role sits within the Strategic Sales & Analytics function and plays a key part in supporting commercial decision-making across our retail accounts.

Reporting to the SS&A SHARK Director, you’ll use data-driven insights to track performance, evaluate pricing and promotional effectiveness, and monitor market dynamics. What You’ll Do

Market & Category Strategy

  • Monitor market trends, competitive activity, pricing, and promotions across SHARK categories
  • Analyse category and brand performance to identify share gains, risks, and growth opportunities
  • Deliver regular POS data analysis to inform tactical and strategic decisions
  • Support the development of category insights to drive distribution, shelf optimisation, and in-store execution

Business Performance & Reporting

  • Track performance versus forecast and prior year through detailed trend analysis
  • Build and maintain dashboards and recurring reports to enhance visibility of key commercial and financial KPIs
  • Deliver clear, concise performance summaries to cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, and operations
  • Prepare analytical materials and insights for leadership reviews and business updates

Strategic Sales Analytics

  • Produce daily, weekly, and monthly reporting across sales, distribution, pricing, and promotions
  • Identify category gaps, promotional risks, and competitive threats through structured analysis
  • Support pre- and post-promotion analysis, evaluating lift, ROI, and execution effectiveness
  • Maintain and update key planning tools such as the Master Event Calendar to support retail initiatives
  • Analyse core metrics including pricing elasticity, promotional efficiency, sell-out trends, and distribution changes

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with sales, marketing, finance, supply chain, and demand planning teams to support commercial initiatives
  • Ensure decisions are grounded in data and aligned with category and business objectives
  • Deliver ad-hoc analysis to address business questions and performance fluctuations

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field
  • Experience in sales analytics, business analysis, category management, or commercial finance
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Advanced Excel skills and solid PowerPoint capabilities (experience with BI tools is a plus)
  • Experience working with large datasets, ideally including POS data
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Clear and structured communication skills, able to present insights to non-technical stakeholders
  • Proactive, curious mindset with a strong drive to understand business drivers and improve performance
