SharkByte isn't a typical internship program. It's a 3 to 18-month sprint where interns, co-ops, and recent graduates work on real business problems, build production-ready AI solutions, and leave a measurable mark on the company — before their last day.
From week one, you're scoped to a live brief, paired with a Technical Team Lead, and building toward something that will go live. No case studies. No shadow projects. No busy work. Just real problems, real tools, and real impact.

Our ideal Builders
We're not looking for the perfect resume. We're looking for the builder mindset.
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's program
- Hands-on experience with data visualization tools — Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar
- Demonstrated experience building with artificial intelligence tools — large language models, automation workflows, or agent frameworks — beyond basic usage
- Fluency working with real-world, messy, or unstructured datasets
- Working knowledge of SQL, Python, or similar tools through coursework, projects, or prior experience
- Comfort operating in ambiguity and breaking complex problems into structured, logical approaches
- Interest in consumer products, retail, or e-commerce environments
- A bias toward action, iteration, and shipping

Monthly open sessions with a SharkNinja executive or external artificial intelligence founder. No agenda, no slides — just questions. Submit yours in advance; the best ones get answered live.

Top SharkByte projects are automatically nominated into the $1M AI Awards. Interns compete on the same stage as full-time team members — because the best ideas don't have a job title.
Early Edge Programming
Fully integrated into SharkNinja's Early Edge Experience: curated community outings, structured professional development, executive speaker series, and cross-functional networking designed to accelerate your growth and build real connections.
Pathways to Full-Time
High performers are considered for conversion to permanent roles following graduation. Those still in school can return for subsequent internship or co-op opportunities.

Conversion or not, every successful SharkByte graduate joins a private community with access to future Jailbreak EDU events, open roles, and the internal AI Sharks knowledge base. The relationship doesn't end when the program does.
